Research and user feedback have shown that these overlays can create additional barriers for assistive technology users, interfere with user-configured settings, and provide a false sense of compliance without addressing underlying accessibility issues.

Instead, we focus on building accessible code, conducting direct testing with assistive technologies, and remediating issues at the source.
